"...The trip, on the last day
of my stay in Costa Rica, was the topper for a wonderful 2-week
vacation. Mount Arenal and the hot springs at Tabacon were wondrous.
The sky was clear and the volcano cooperated fully. Thanks to you
and your experienced advise, the time was packed with many and unforgettable
side trips..."

DAY 1- SAN JOSE / ARENAL
Arrive in San Jose's Juan Santamaría International Airport, where our driver will pick you up to begin a 4 hour journey to the ARENAL VOLCANO, Costa Rica's, and one of the world's most active with a scheduled stop for a relaxing soak and dinner at the thermal pools of ECO TERMALES HOT SPRINGS, whose warm, mineral-rich waters are heated within the volcano. Overnite at Linda Vista Del Norte Lodge where you will have a spectacular view of the volcano's night time eruptions. The lodge is located just 25 kilometers southwest of La Fortuna de San Carlos, adjacent to the Arenal Volcano National Park, and about 4 hours from San Jose. Besides being able to enjoy the volcano and the surrounding areas, you can find very comfortable lodging in any of the ten rooms, each with private bathroom, some with views of the volcano and some with views of the Lake. The whole area of the Linda Vista del Norte Lodge encompasses 210 hectares of pristine rain forest teeming with wildlife and tropical birds species such as the Quetzal or the Toucan - usually seen from March to June.
