The Lookout Inn is located in Costa Rica on the "Osa Peninsula" at the extreme end of the road in Carate. They are ideally situated to offer comfortable eco-friendly accommodations to the traveler visiting this remote part of Costa Rica.

This is the Primary Entry Point to "Corcovado National Park" which is considered one of the world's great wildlife reserves. A guided tour into the park is an unforgettable experience.

Venture away from the comfort of the Lookout Inn each morning and enjoy the Largest Protected Tract of Pacific Coast Rainforest remaining in the Western Hemisphere, and yet return to a comfortable room at the end of a long day of exploring. And best of all, The Lookout Inn is very affordable.

The wildlife here is absolutely extraordinary, the plant life more diverse than you will find anywhere in the world, and the butterflies, other insects and birds will just blow you away. Visit the waterfalls and climb the Stairway to Heaven.

The exquisitely prepared meals are usually served buffet style, and dining is on the main deck, or high above on the observation deck. The menu is a combination of international and local cuisine and if you have any dietary requests, please let them know the helpful staff will do their best to accommodate you.
The Lookout Inn offers several accommodations to fit your taste and budget. The Lookout Rooms, Private Cabins, and Master Suite all offer their own spacious bathroom, hot water shower, and fan.  The furniture, which includes armoires, tables, chairs, and queen-sized beds are a mix of bamboo, wicker, and indigenous woods.
The tile floors and baths add a luxurious touch. The rooms are kept cool and quiet by the concrete construction, 10-foot high ceilings, and lack of direct sunlight
