Hotel Cabanas Los Pinos is simply one of the nicest small hotels in the Monteverde area operated by the Arguedas family who live on-site and assures excellent maintenance and personal attention.   They are centrally located on the main road linking the Santa Elena commercial district with the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.

The Cabins vary in size and can accommodate from 2 to 6 guests. Each cabin is located at least 100 feet away from each other, so you are assured of complete privacy.

Some of the cabins have separate bedrooms with private bath and hot water showers. Each cabin has its own hot water tank.  All Cabins offer full kitchens, however if you do not want to cook, there are plenty of restaurants nearby serving Costa Rican and international cuisine. If you have your own transport you can park securely right in front of your cabin.

The Family cabins are the largest with three double bedrooms and three bathrooms.  They also have living rooms sets which allow the family or group of friends to share and enjoy visits.  It is ideal for four persons and up to six who are looking for an oasis in the Cloud Forest to enjoy this very special area of Costa Rica.

The Junior cabins are more spacious than the Standard cabins and offer fully equipped kitchens, living room and dining room with sofa bed, there is cable TV, and hair dryers in the bathrooms.  These cabins are ideal for couples and can accommodate up to four guest.

Los Pinos is an excellent option for families, larger groups or couples traveling together. As an example, two couples traveling together can opt for cabins #4, 5, 6 or #8.  If you need two rooms in another hotel Los Pinos can be a more economical option.  Los Pinos offers something for everyone!

Los Pinos also offers acres of wonderful landscaping featuring many varieties of tropical plants.
