Cerro Lodge is an environmental friendly project located on a farm in the town of Tarcoles (Central Pacific). This area is one of the most important nesting areas of the Scarlet Macaw in Costa Rica.

Besides enjoying Costa Rica’s natural attractions and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Carara National Park, you can enjoy such activities as; horseback riding, hiking, dairy production, etc;

Cerro Lodge is surrounded by trees, palms, gardens, and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, mangrove forests, and Carara National Park  and offers 12 bungalows with private bathrooms and indoor gardens, swimming pool and a dining area.

The Lodge is located between Carara National Park and the Tárcoles mangroves (where the scarlet macaws live and nest), so it is very common to see these magnificent birds overhead as they fly through this section of the valley.

As a way to preserve our planet they are constantly trying to look for a balance among nature and human activities.

The cabin's water is used for irrigation, and the garbage is selected to produce compost.
