El Sabanero Eco-Lodge is located on a hillside in "Cañafistula" near Tamarindo overlooking the Cañafistula valley with beautiful views from all Chalets.

The lodge is a few minutes drive away from four of the most popular and beautiful beaches in the area, Playa Avellanas, Playa Negra, Playa Junquillal and Tamarindo so there is no need for guests to choose just one and can sample all.

The chalets are built out of teak wood cultivated the area. The surrounding tropical gardens add indispensable privacy and peace to each unit.

All chalets feature one queen size bed, private bathroom, air conditioning, refrigerator, safe and a private porch equipped with 2 rocking chairs in which you can spend hours reading or enjoying the surrounding nature.

Guests can enjoy the spectacular infinity pool which is at the perfect temperature all year long. While swimming you can enjoy views of the beautiful Guanacaste valley, a perfect blend of serenity and nature. The pool is available to guests 24 hours a day.

At the El Sabanero restaurant they serve local and international dishes prepared with only the freshest ingredients. Eggs, Milk, Cheese, Beef, Pork and Fish are all bought at local farmers and directly from local fishermen while fruits and vegetables are mostly grown by farmers in the area.
