Welcome to the Hotel Cristal Ballena, your dream destination in the south of Costa Rica!

The hotel—with bar, restaurant, 19 fully equipped and spacious suites, 4 Adventure Lodges and a huge 400 square meter (4300 square foot) pool—is situated in a 12 hectare (30-acre) garden area on a hill between the Pacific Ocean and a rainforest-covered mountain.

Each room has breathtaking ocean views, and the area offers a wide range of outdoor activities.

Enjoy the buffet-style breakfast, included with your stay, at their café-style bar and restaurant by the pool, "Pura Vida!". Featuring international and Costa Rican cuisine and the bar also serves a variety of refreshing cocktails and beverages.

The Suites
The Cristal Ballena offers 14 spacious, connectable junior suites, 3 master suites and 2 family suites, all with balcony and awesome ocean views.

The stylish, spacious suites are equipped with four-poster beds, air conditioning plus ceiling fan, satellite television, WLAN, telephone, refrigerator, safe, coffee maker and private bathrooms with hairdryer.

The Adventure Lodges
Their 4 charming Adventure Lodges are situated in the colorful garden, surrounded by exuberant tropical forest. Each lodge comes complete with terrace, separate tiled bathroom, king size bed, electricity and ceiling fan.

Their multipurpose meeting room accommodates groups up to 60 people, and can be used for a variety of activities, such as seminars, meetings, weddings and conferences.

For all bookings during: Christmas Week 2008 (22/12/08 – 02/01/2009), Easter Week 2009 (14/03/09 – 23/03/09) there will be a surcharge as follows:

Master/Family/Junior Suite: An additional $ 30.00 + tax per night.
Adventure Lodge: An additional $ 20.00 + tax per night.
Minimum reservation for the above periods is 4 nights
