The Tenorio Lodge is located between the Tenorio and Miravalles volcanoes at an altitude of 1,640 ft. Each one of their 8 spacious and elegant bungalows has an exceptional view towards the Tenorio volcano, offering guests an unmatched relaxed and serene setting. |

Built on the owner/managers' 17 acre property, the lodge is set in the middle of Heliconia gardens, fruit trees and tropical vegetation that surround two natural ponds. |

Along the many trails, you will be able to observe the many bird species of the area, learn about native trees, or take a dip in one of their two red cedar hot tubs.
Among the activities not to be misses is a visit to the heart of the Tenorio Volcano National Park and the "River Celeste", well known for its astonishing and enchanting turquoise-blue color water. |

The 8 spacious bungalows are 484 square feet and offer: King bed, with a 7"
orthopedic mattress, mosquito net,
table and armchairs (or a sofa bed to accommodate an additional person or two children), ceiling fans, fire detectors in the bedroom, bathroom equipped with a solar system to produce hot water, and a separate closet with space for suitcases.
One room is especially equipped for physically challenged persons. |

Stop at the end of the day at the "Ranchito"; relax in one of the two red cedar wood Jacuzzis. In the middle of the garden of Heliconias, watch the twirling of hummingbirds and admire the view over the Tenorio volcano.
Trails are running through our Heliconias garden, the parks, along two natural ponds and cross several reforestation zones. Numerous places permit the visitors to observe the large number of birds that live in their great natural aviary. |
