Hotel Luisiana is situated in an ideal location, overlooking the Central Valley and with an amazing view of the Santa Ana Mountains. The owners bought this old Southern style home built sixty years ago by a North American man émigré from Louisiana, hence the name, and decided to completely renovate it and bring it to a fresh and exciting rebirth as Hotel Luisiana. |

The hotel is a mix of 1900 American style with modern details and a European flair due to the fact that the current owners are from Italy. It is an ideal place to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Costa Rican countryside with American comfort and excellent home made and authentic Italian cuisine. |

| The complimentary breakfast selections included in the rates offers; American style breakfast with eggs, bacon, coffee, fruit juice and fruit salad, Continental style breakfast with cereal, fruit salad, toasted bread, marmalade, and fruit juice, and Italian breakfast with cappuccino or espresso, croissant, orange juice, and depending on availability, home made cakes or biscuits. On those occasions when you elect to dine out and experience some of the local restaurants, there is wide selection of excellent ones in close proximity to the lodge. Some of the more recommended ones are: Bacchus (Italian, Mediterranean), Antonio's (Mediterranean), Taj Mahal (Indian) Ceviche Del Rey (Peruvian), Lo Spago ( Italian), Mangiamo ( Italian), Outback, Hooters, Etc. If you are traveling by car, ample parking is available on-site in front of your room, free of charge. |
