| The resort is located just 100 meters west of the beautiful Caribbean Sea and the sandy beaches of Playa Negra, acclaimed as one of the most natural beaches in the Caribbean and highly rated as one of the best most unspoiled beaches in Costa Rica. |
| |
To the north is Playa Grande, also with miles of unspoiled and undeveloped beach front. The property’s privileged location atop a coral hill allows the ocean breezes to rush into your accommodations and the beautiful natural landscaping attracts many of the local area’s birds and animals. |

| The luxury bungalows are being built of natural hardwoods by local craftsmen. Our bathrooms and showers are being decorated in unique mosaic tiles done by local craftsmen also, and the rooms are being decorated in authentic Caribbean and African arts and crafts collected by the owners and their families in Africa and the Islands of the Caribbean. |

There exists a unique Afro/Asian/Caribbean culture on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica that exists nowhere else in the country. Here you will find more English speaking natives than in the rest of the country and a wonderful mix of cultures. |
| |
| The village of Cahuita has many good restaurants, and there are a few bars that play Reggae music and have live bands on weekends. Of course the warm beautiful ocean breezes, jungle flora and fauna, and beautiful birds can be enjoyed all the time. |
